About Home Watch One
My name is Mike Singer, and I am the owner/originator of Home Watch One. I
decided to re-enter the fray after Hurricane Ian revealed the need for a company that offered and delivered quality care for people’s unoccupied homes, and did so with diligence and integrity.
After moving to the Gulf Coast, as a disabled U.S. Navy veteran, I have been
supplementing my pension, not to mention keeping busy, by driving Uber. As you can imagine, this has brought me into contact with a large variety of the population, both year-round residents and “Snowbirds”.
Hurricane Ian exposed a need which became immediately apparent. Neighbors,
friends and family, as well as my Uber passengers, flocked to the area to check
the damage wrought on their unoccupied homes. Most did so unexpectedly and
unannounced. Several found that the informal (and sometimes formal)
arrangements for the care of their “piece of Paradise” were inadequate, at best.
I decided to address this need after being drafted to care for the unoccupied
homes of friends and family, and the resulting entity has become Home Watch
One. After considerable research, I have arrived at and put in place, a program to
rectify these shortfalls. By using state-of-the-art inspection and reporting
practices, tapping into a network of semiretired professionals, and enlisting a
comprehensive network of local businesses, I can deliver services that meet the needs/wants which are currently lacking in the marketplace.
My goal is to make your departure and arrival here in your long awaited, much
anticipated “piece of Paradise” as seamless and trouble free as possible.
Availability of everything from post-departure clean and close, keyholder service, project oversight, weekly inspection for obvious abnormalities, to deep cleaning reopen for occupancy (we will even do basic grocery shopping).
I look forward to hearing from you, and showing you the value of doing business
with Home Watch One, where we are watching over your “piece of Paradise”,
giving you peace of mind.
